Job Description

To ensure the future growth of our Movu Robotics offices in Lokeren we are looking for an enthusiastic Robotics Safety Engineer. You will be responsible for ;

  • Performing & supporting Risk Assessments (RA)
  • Define and document safety requirements (SRS)
  • Validate hardware solutions using BGIA Sistema
  • Perform safety validation
  • Compilation of safety documents on the TF
  • Performing RA on-site at customers & yards
  • Preparing safety-related information
  • Continuous improvement of existing safety procedures

Who are we looking for?

  • Bachelor or Master engineer in mechatronics or equivalent through experience
  • Good knowledge of Safety Directives and standards
  • Knowledge of Machine Directive
  • ISO 12100-2011
  • ISO 13849-1:2016 and ISO 13849-2:2013
  • IEC 60204:2018
  • ISO 13850:2015
  • ISO 13857:2008
  • Knowledge of ISO 3691-4:2020, EN 528 and/or EN 619 is definitely a plus
  • Knowledge of US standards B11.0, B11.19, B11.26, B56.5, ... is a plus
  • Experience with RA evaluation techniques
  • Knowledge of IBF "Safexpert" is a plus
  • Experience with electrical & hydraulic components within RA
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
  • Occasional travel abroad does not put you off
