Job Description

The Marketing Manager carries the end responsibility for the whole company’s marketing strategy Movu as stow organization, people and processes, thereby respecting the company’s rules and corporate decisions. Defines the strategy and objectives for their functional domain, based on the stipulated short- and long-term objectives of the company. Once approved by the CEO, they are responsible for the implementation thereof and reports regularly on the progress. Responsible for managing its processes, human resources, coaching and to develop a competent team.

QSHE & Compliance

  • Responsible for motivating/ensuring everyone works safely and according to the  QSHE standards to ensure that all work is done in a safe, efficient, and qualitative way. 
  • Complies with the attitude of Lean and continuous improvements in the organization.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all executed activities and processes are in compliance with QSHE standards, policies, instructions, and local legislation.

Tasks & Responsiblities

  • Understands, applies, and conveys the company’s mission and vision, to adhere to expectations and values prioritized by the board, the CEO and HQ Management team.
  • Develops a clear vision of what needs to be accomplished in the medium and long term, based upon understanding of the external and competitive environment and the company's strengths.
  • Responsible for producing and communicating actionable business plans (incl. measurable targets) to implement the strategy developed together with the team and monitor effectiveness.
  • Reports to the CMO

Qualifications

  • Responsible to establish the organizational structure in line with the corporate guidelines as stipulated in the quality system.
  • Applies competence management to make sure all responsibilities and authorizations are covered and allocated efficiently.
  • Sets KPIs as targets for management and holds each employee accountable for their respective domains to maintain a balance between responsibilities and controlling the results.
  • Regularly checks the satisfaction of the team members, clients, and stakeholders to define and execute action plans for continuous improvement.
  • Develops, within the framework of the approved strategy, the necessary processes, and policies, controls the implementation, and organizes corrective measures to ensure the employees are permanently managed towards set strategic goals and targets.
  • Prepares and sets up the annual marketing budget for the department.

Business Results

  • Takes ownership of the results, the investment in and allocation of human and other resources, without the CEO’s intervention, to ensure targets and budgets are always met.
  • Works in close collaboration with the CFO to understand the key profit drivers, performance, and budget variances. Develops and implements corrective measures when needed.
  • Produces regular and accurate reports in accordance with the company’s standards to keep the shareholders and management informed on the company's performance and uses this information to manage and improve business results.

Business Development

  • Responsible for developing a channel of new business coming into the company, based on a thorough knowledge of the market (customers and business trends), the solutions and services the company can provide and of the company's competitors.
  • Responsible to identify market opportunities and to evaluate them in close collaboration with the CEO, the Group Directors, and the Regional Directors.
  • Understands the company and follows trends and evolutions in the different markets and domains to offer the best solutions at right cost and within the budget.
  • Proactively works together with the team to secure future revenues.

Market Data Analysis

  • Collects, structures, and interprets all available and relevant market data, analyses the clients’ needs and demands to optimize existing products and services.
  • Follows, investigates, and proactively addresses market dynamics, developments, and trends.

Relationship Management

  • partners, the political world, local authorities, financial institutions, etc. to create awareness and goodwill towards the company.
  • Ensures an up-to-date CRM system is available and used throughout the company.

Marketing & Communication

  • He/she is end-responsible for the development of the Marketing and Communication strategy.
  • Implements and communicates the marketing and communication guidelines.
  • Stays in close contact with Regional Directors and Regional Sales Managers on marketing and communication needs and provides the CSO with input on international needs.
  • Secures Regional Directors and Regional Sales Managers refer to the Marketing Manager for any regional marketing and communication actions.
  • Facilitates the systematic provision of information on projects won and other noteworthy regional achievements to the CSO.
