Job Description

The commissioning engineer sets up the robots / shuttles, elevators and conveyors at our customers locations. 

  • You will start-up shuttles, elevators and conveyors at our customers’ locations.
  • You are willing to travel. The first projects are in Belgium, but in the future, it can be all around the globe (mostly Europe). You work typically 2 or 3 weeks on-site.
  • You are responsible for PLC software (Beckhoff) configuration and live testing.
  • You support end users and our integrators with level 1 and level 2 support, both on site, by telephone and via remote connection.
  • You give training where necessary.
  • You will be joining a 24/07 standby service in order to solve problems immediately.
  • You are hands-on and are able to make small repairs.
Qualifications

Qualifications

  • You have a technical bachelor degree or equivalent through experience
  • Also as a recent graduate you can qualify for this job
  • Projects abroad do not scare you off. You are willing to be flexible and motivated during the long days on-site.
  • For some projects you are willing to work at heights or in refrigerated areas.
  • Affinity with software is recommended
  • Good knowledge of Dutch/English. French is definitely a plus.
  • Computer skills: MS Office + Teams
  • You are sociable, eager to learn, driven and cheerful
  • Customer-friendliness and passion are second nature to you
